Ingredients | Scottish Oat Bread1 cup water¾ cup white sugar1 tablespoon mixed spice1 tablespoon cinnamon1 ¼ cups chopped mixed dried fruit1 ¼ cups golden raisins1 cup margarine2 cups all-purpose flour1 teaspoon baking soda2 eggs, beatenDirectionsIn a saucepan, combine the water, sugar, mixed spice, cinnamon, mixed fruit, golden raisins and margarine. Bring to a boil and let simmer for one minute. Remove from the heat and stir in the flour, baking soda and eggs. Pour into a microwave-safe bowl.Place the bowl into the microwave, uncovered.
